Kate Gosselin and daughter Cara, 9, put on their running shoes Saturday morning May 1st to participate in a 5 K run near their Pennsylvania home. The event was The New Balance Girls on the Run 5K in Lancaster, PA. Girls on the Run is an organization whose mission is to use running as a way to empower young girls and lead them into a lifetime of healthy living. "There were several hundred runners, mostly parents with their kids," one of the participants tells RadarOnline.com.
"Kate frequently stoped running so that Cara could catch up with her. The Gosselin girls finished near the back of the pack."
